Part Two covers the second half of Kirkpinar, the winnowing of 900 entrants down to ten winners. Every age and size competes, and the field is always full. There are five different ways to win, and you will see examples of them all (You will not see any final award ceremonies, however: this was our first trip, and by the end we were just "beat from the heat"). A Turk’s endurance and sustained aggressiveness out in the sizzling summer sun will amaze you. Could you keep it up?
