Tekirdag & Gebze

Biggest year ever: More locations, more cameras, more everything. We start with a regional tournament held on the edge of the village of Tekirdag on the Sea of Marmara, then on to another at Gebze, which boasts the most beautiful wrestling grounds in Turkey. The action is mostly between teen-agers and young men, with only a few of the nationally-ranked heavyweights at the end. But these younger and lighter guys are tough, scrappy, fearless and ripped. Our favorite is a David vs. Goliath which the smaller fighter almost pulled off. Memorable fights, faces, & fysiques!
